Pen & Ink Watercolour Artist
I work in watercolour medium using pen and ink. I have been painting commissioned architecture portraits for over 30 years. Both residential homes and commercial properties, such as shops, restaurants and cafes make excellent subjects.

I try to paint as much as I can in my spare time and I always take a sketch book with me on my travels. Each year my mother and I go on a residential painting holiday and it is my mother who I thank for passing the artistic baton down to me.

I have painted commissions of house portraits in London, Brighton and Edinburgh.

I live in the Abbeyhill Colonies area of Edinburgh which is a local artisan community. The Colony of Artists is an eclectic arts exhibition in the of the Abbeyhill Colonies, Edinburgh where local artists take part in an annual exhibition in their own homes and gardens.
I have exhibited in England and Scotland. Having completed an Art Foundation course in Brighton, I then moved to Maidstone, where I did a degree in Visual Communication, specialising in Illustration. A Master’s degree in Art Therapy brought me up to Edinburgh, when I studied at Queen Margaret’s University, when it was based in Leith. I have since qualified as a child and adolescent psychotherapist and I work full-time in NHS Fife Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
